About Joanna
Joanna grew up in Montreal, between the Plateau and Rosemont, where she was introduced to the arts from a young age. She studied at FACE, a school renowned for its high-quality art education. For five years, she explored various mediums, until falling in love with painting on canvas.
She became involved with Clowns Without Borders , where her creative talent shone through the creation of costumes, sets and various public performances. In 1999, during the Just for Laughs Festival, she met her partner, beginning a love story that continues to this day. Attracted to cabinetmaking, she studied at the École des métiers du meuble de Montréal, where she discovered marquetry. Her precise and quality work impressed a contractor specializing in luxury sailboats, for whom she created cabinetmaking and wood carving pieces for over two years.
In 2006, Joanna moved to Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean with her family. After studying visual arts at UQAC, she became involved in local projects and was noticed for her talent. Although shy, she could no longer hide her gift, and requests for projects quickly began to pour in by word of mouth.

For over two years, Joanna has collaborated with JOG Tattoo, a renowned tattoo artist in Quebec. Impressed by her precision and attention to detail, JOG introduced her to the art of tattooing, in which she quickly excelled. Together, they welcome their clients into a studio surrounded by nature, offering a calm and inspiring atmosphere.
